Keep your Alectra account current during ongoing mail delivery delays

Although Canada Post employees are now back to work, effective November 27, the postal disruption over the past few months has caused a significant backlog, and mail delivery may continue to be delayed throughout the holiday season. As an Alectra customer you still are responsible for paying your monthly bill. To avoid any potential late fees, we encourage you to choose an electronic payment method like on-line banking, tele-banking and pre-authorized payments.  Login to My Account to view your account online and to register online for ebilling.

For customers who have participated in FIT or microfit programs and are anticipating the delivery of recurring refund cheques, consider signing up for autopay to avoid delivery delays.

Many convenient ways to pay

Alectra Utilities offers many convenient options to pay your bill: Pre-authorized Payment, telephone or online banking, or in-person at most financial institutions. You can also mail your cheque or money order directly to us. Simply choose the option that suits you best.

Manage your bill with My Account

One of the easiest ways to manage your bill is to sign up for My Account, currently available to customers formerly served by Brampton Hydro (Brampton), PowerStream (York Region & Simcoe County) and Horizon Utilities (Hamilton & St. Catharines), and coming soon to former Enersource (Mississauga) customers.

Register to view and pay your bills online, set up an equal payment plan, view your billing history and monitor your usage. If you register for ebilling, you will always receive a notification about your bill by email.

Register for Pre-authorized Payments

Make paying your electricity bill even easier by registering for one of our convenient Pre-authorized Payment plans. Just choose your community from the list below to complete the appropriate online application form. Please have your banking information handy.

You can also register online for our Equal Payment Plan where you can specify the date each month that’s best for your funds to be withdrawn. Alternatively, you can contact Customer Care to mail, email or fax the form directly to you.
